Jacoby Brissett and Deshaun Watson (Cleveland Browns)
Brissett maintained a 3.5 GPA while playing his freshman and sophomore seasons with the Florida Gators. The QB transferring to N.C. State and majored in communication, but it’s unclear if he ever finished his bachelor’s degree. His Wonderlic test score from the 2016 NFL Combine was 24/50 (average).
Notably, Watson maintained a 3.48 GPA in high school. The Clemson QB earned an undergraduate degree in communication within his three years of playing with the program (December 2016). His Wonderlic test score from the 2017 NFL Combine was 20/50 (below average).
Joe Burrow (Cincinnati Bengals)
Burrow maintained a 3.71 GPA in high school. The QB earned two college degrees while playing for two different DI football programs. He earned an undergraduate degree in consumer and family financial services during his time at Ohio State (2015–2017). Then, he attained his master’s degree in liberal arts from LSU in December 2019. His Wonderlic test score from the 2020 Draft Combine was 34/50 (above average).

Kenny Pickett (Pittsburgh Steelers)
Pickett’s GPA is N/A. The Pitt QB graduated with a bachelor’s degree in marketing and then became a business administration graduate in 2020. He also took MBA courses at Pitt until he entered the 2022 NFL. His Wonderlic test score from the 2022 NFL Combine is 17/50 (below average).
Lamar Jackson (Baltimore Ravens)
Jackson told The Palm Beach Post, “My 10th-grade year, I had a 1.5 GPA. School comes first. I found out the hard way.” After he got his grades up, Jackson was able to play three years of college football at Louisville. The QB was unable to attain his degree in communication since he left school early to enter the 2018 NFL Draft, according to Sportscasting. His Wonderlic test score from the 2018 Draft Combine was 13/50 (below average).
