Top 10 Florida State men’s basketball players of all time

5. Toney Douglas (2006-09)

After becoming a third-team All-SEC player in his freshman year at Auburn, Douglas transferred to play for Hamilton at FSU, first taking the court in Tallahassee in 2006-07. After averaging 12.7 points that season, Douglas became a true leader on both ends in his junior season, averaging 15.2 points and 2.6 steals as a third-team All-ACC player. However, his best season came in his last, as Douglas scored 21.5 points per game while also averaging nearly four rebounds and three assists. As a senior, the 6-foot-1 guard was named to the ACC All-Defensive team for the second consecutive year while also being honored as a first-team All-ACC player and the ACC Defensive Player of the Year, helping lead the Noles to their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 1998. His 751 points that year are the most in a single season in program history, while his 1,655 career points are fifth-best all time at FSU.
