Top 10 highest-rated HS boys basketball players since 2010
T-No. 4 – Marvin Bagley
Marvin Bagley’s 247 Sports profile shows that he has a player rating of 0.9999. The 6-foot-10 power forward graduated from Sierra Canyon High School (California) in the Class of 2017 after reclassifying from the Class of 2018. He was the consensus No. 1 recruit for both classes and ties as the fourth highest-rated boys basketball player since 2010.
The extremely gifted player was viewed as the most NBA-ready prospect straight out of high school since LeBron James. Bagley averaged 24.9 points and 10.1 rebounds in his final season to lead Sierra Canyon to a 27-3 record.
Bagley chose Duke over Arizona, Arizona State, Duke, Kentucky, USC and UCLA. He had an electric freshman season for his only season with the Blue Devils – averaged 21 points and 11.1 rebounds – and nonetheless went No. 2 overall in the 2018 NBA Draft. The 23-year-old has had some ups and downs in the league but is still giving a go at his untapped potential.
