Top 5 matchups for Week 3 of the 2024 college football season
MANHATTAN, Kan. (BVM) – The 2024 college football season is in full swing and Week 2 brought about some exciting action and surprising results. While many of the country’s top teams like Georgia and Ohio State easily took care of business against lesser non-conference opponents, there were some big upsets this past weekend including Northern Illinois shocking No. 5 Notre Dame and Illinois taking down No. 19 Kansas.
Meanwhile, several other highly-ranked teams barely survived in close wins like Oregon, Penn State, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State. There were also a couple of statement victories this past weekend headlined by Texas’ dominance in Ann Arbor against Michigan.
Week 3 is likely to bring more excitement and drama across the country with some appealing non-conference games once again in addition to multiple rivalry matchups and early conference contests that could test some of the top teams in the country.
