Jamarii Thomas transferring: 5 landing spots for MEAC POTY
Oklahoma State Cowboys
Oklahoma State will have a different look in 2024-25 beginning with new head coach Steve Lutz who the Cowboys recently hired from Western Kentucky. Like many first-year head coaches in today’s game, Lutz will likely need to turn to the transfer portal in order to field a competitive roster next season. Oklahoma State has already seen Brandon Garrison and Eric Dailey Jr. enter the transfer portal, and Javon Small could also be on his way to a new program. Particularly if Small leaves, Oklahoma State will be looking for an experienced scoring guard with John-Michael Wright also out of eligibility. Thomas would be a high-upside addition for Lutz who could quickly become a star in the Big 12 if he can continue to play how he did at Norfolk State.
